Cavalier Art Gallery
I invite you to join me on a journey; an opportunity to see through the
eyes of an artist, a moment in time that captures the gentle and often
mischievious spirit of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel through the ages.
On this page you can view the artwork of some of the best
Cavalier images available today. Contact information for the Artists has
been supplied where available. Many of the images that appear on this page
also adorn the walls of our home. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

The following images are examples of Cavaliers found in the
historical record.
These are the images that, in 1926, inspired Roswell Eldridge to to offer cash
prizes at Crufts for the best Blenheim dog and bitch of the original type.
Eldridge offered money prizes to be awarded at Crufts' Dog Show (London) for the
dog and the bitch that came closest to "the dogs as shown in the pictures of
King Charles II's time.".
