Upcoming Breedings

We are often asked "when will you have another litter of puppies?" In the end we always have to rely on Mother Nature, however we do try to plan these things as much as possible.

These are all our previous litters. We are not planning any more litters in the foreseeable future.

Spring Heat 2009 - Penny Lane

We are in the process of planning a new breeding. Our first in two years! Yeah! This one has been in the planning stages for a while. QuinnCarlin's Penny Lane will be bred to Dawnaquinn Dark Star (Niles)

Spring Heat 2007 - Iza

Iza has been bred to Brooke. Their first tie was on 9th of April 2007. Iza has given birth to four pups. You can follow Iza's progress on her Puppy Papers Page!

In 2007 Iza turned four and was bred on her Spring heat. Iza and Brooke had four lovely pups. This concludes our planned breedings for this year.

Spring Heat 2007 - Tara

Tara has been bred to Brooke, yes the same Brooke that her daughter Iza was bred to. We were very impressed with the pups that Brooke produced and the characteristics that he has brought to our line. Tara took her time coming into heat this spring. Then we had a bit of trouble with Tara being taller than Brooke. They could not work out the 'angle of the dangle' and we ended up performing an AI with freshly collected semen on 24 February. We figured that Tara ovulated on 20 February ... so if Tara is pregnant we will be expecting babies on 24 April.

Tara was indeed pregnant but we are so sad to report that Tara has absorbed her pups. Follow her progress on her Puppy Papers Page!

Spring Heat 2006

Allie (the lovely Ruby lady in the photo with Iza below) was bred using surgical A.I., using Tannus' collected and frozen semen. Allie's singleton pup (Penny Lane) was born on March 28^th. You can follow the progress of Allie's pregnancy and her pup in Allie's edition of "The Puppy Papers."

Iza (the beautiful Tri-coloured girl in the photo above) has been bred to a lovely Blenheim boy of Joan Brascombe's Tamarindo kennel. His name is "Tamarindo Brooke Our Man", shown in the photo below. This photo was taken by Debbie, Iza's co-cowner when she went to meet the 'man' that her 'baby' is betrothed to. We are happy to report that Brooke passed the 'Mother-In Law' test. Debbie is excitedly looking forward to her 'grand babies', especially since she will be adopting one of Iza's pups as part of our co-ownership agreement.
